The 2nd annual TWIN CITIES CLAY PARTY Recap

WOW. What an amazing night. We are so blown away with the support for this year’s Clay Party.

This year we were thrilled to welcome over 300 attendees, who threw, hand built and throw-down-challenged their way through more than 350 pounds of clay! We’re so so grateful to be able to welcome and celebrate the amazing clay communities in the Twin Cities. <3

The 2nd annual Twin Cities Clay Party was made possible by our co-presenting studio, The Clay Pit, and our partner studios, Fired Up Studios, Midtown Clay, The Cracked Pot, and Midway Clay.

Our awesome member and MC, Larry, led us through 6 different throw down challenges.

Downstairs we had hand building projects presented by The Clay Pit! We’re so grateful to have gotten to partner with TCP this year, and a huge shoutout to Soren for helping folks with their projects.

Plus open throwing and the 2026 collab pot, upstairs! It was so fun to see experienced and newbie potters alike take a spin.

A massive thank you to our co-presenting studio, The Clay Pit, and our partner studios, Fired Up Studios, Midtown Clay, The Cracked Pot, and Midway Clay, for making it possible to keep this event free and open to the public. We couldn’t do it without you!!!
