Get hands-on in our Intro to Wheel-Throwing pottery class, perfect for beginners! In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of working with clay on the wheel, including centering, opening and pulling walls. Our experienced teachers offer personalized instruction to help you take your clay a from lump of mud to a functional piece of art!

This class is great for the pottery-curious, folks looking to try something new, or get back into ceramics after a hiatus. Bring a friend and let's get muddy!

Students can keep up to two works, which will be trimmed and glazed by your teachers. Pick up your pieces in our boutique approximately 4-6 weeks after class.

Explore a new hobby in our 5-week Pottery 101 Course! This class is perfect for beginners or potters that are looking to refresh there skills. In this hands-on course you will learn the essential techniques needed to create beautiful, functional pottery pieces.

Under the guidance of skilled instructors, you’ll learn the basics of working on the potter’s wheel, including centering clay, shaping vessels, and trimming. You’ll also explore surface decoration and glazing techniques, giving you the skills to craft your own unique pieces. With small class sizes, you’ll receive personalized attention and feedback as you develop your skills at your own pace.

Pottery 201 is perfect for potters that know the basics of throwing and want to dig deeper and strengthen their skills. This 6 class course will focus on improving throwing consistency of cylinders, bowls, and vases, as well as more advanced trimming and decorating techniques.

Prerequisite: Before joining us for pottery 201 all students must complete Pottery 101 prior to the first day of class or have a teacher exception.
