Wednesdays 5:30-8:30pm 3/4, 3/11, 4/1, 4/15

Take your functional pottery to the next level by creating a functional bong or bubbler. In this class you will throw and assemble a water pipe with the support of an expert potter. You will learn about the inner workings of a waterpipe to create a piece with the best possible function. your piece will be out of the kiln just in time to celebrate 4/20!

Pre-requisite skills: You must be comfortable centering and throwing with 3 pounds of clay before taking this class.

Class Materials: All materials will be provided

Class Overview

• Day 1: Demo and throw all components

• Day 2: Trim and surface decoration

• Day 3: Glaze

• Day 4: Critique!

Age Requirement: This class is suitable for student ages 21 and older.
